Product Details:

Clindamycin (100 mg) + Clotrimazole (200 mg) is a combination vaginal capsule or suppository used primarily for the treatment of mixed vaginal infections caused by bacteria and fungi.

1. Clindamycin – An antibiotic that kills bacteria responsible for bacterial vaginosis and other vaginal infections.

   • It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis.

   • Effective against Gardnerella vaginalis, Mycoplasma hominis, and Anaerobic bacteria.

2. Clotrimazole – An antifungal that kills fungi and yeast, especially Candida albicans.

   • It damages the fungal cell membrane, leading to fungal death.

• Mixed vaginal infections (bacterial + fungal)

• Bacterial vaginosis

• Vaginal candidiasis (yeast infection)

• Leucorrhea (abnormal white discharge due to infection)

• Vaginitis (inflammation of the vagina due to mixed infection)

• Post-antibiotic or post-menstrual vaginal imbalance leading to infection

• Usually one capsule inserted deep into the vagina at bedtime for 3–7 days, as directed by a doctor.

• Avoid oral use – it is meant for vaginal insertion only.

• Mild vaginal irritation or burning

• Itching or redness

• Abdominal cramps (rare)

• Unusual vaginal discharge (temporary)

• Avoid use during menstruation.

• Avoid sexual intercourse during treatment.

• Do not use tampons or other vaginal products simultaneously.

• Consult a doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding.
